This is the legendary store, where celebrities, from around the world (like: Jackie O, The Beatles, Maria Callas, Sophia Loren, and many others) buy their sandals before heading off for their Greek island destinations.The store was established by Georgios Melissinos, in 1920. His son Stavros (AKA The Poet Sandal Maker) took over in 1954 and then, in 2004, he handed it over to his son Pantelis (AKA Poet and Artist Sandal Maker).
